Onzaabi is an Ojibwe term that means ‘to look at from a certain place.’  This site reflects the certain place from which I look at the world. 

My name is Tim Brown.  I am a father, husband, artist, photographer and musician.  A member of the White Earth Band of Ojibwe, I am the youngest of five, an elementary school principal and hold a doctorate in leadership.  Once upon a time, I was an art major.  While I lacked the nerve and confidence to turn my passion into my career, I never stray too far from my first love.
